We occasionally get questions like this:

The Lottery Winners puzzle has a conflict and therefore is unsolvable. The $10M winner could either be Delaware or Utah based on the clues. Please fix!

There is no error in the puzzle, but it highlights the care needed sometimes when reading the clues.

The trick with this puzzle is understanding Clue 1.

Specifically, there’s nothing in clue 1 that says Ferris can’t be from Utah.  Yes, Ferris Fry is $15 million from Clue 3 but that doesn't conflict with Clue 1, though at initial glance it might seem otherwise.

Once that is again a possibility, the rest of the puzzle sorts itself out.

Happy puzzling!
